Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio. Biles is believed to be one of the most outstanding athletes. Being a U.S. female gymnast, Biles was one of the few to achieve four golds in one Games at the 2016 Olympics. She is also the first to hold three consecutive world championships. Biles is from Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. The Biles family grew up in Houston's metropolitan area. Simone began to take an interest in gymnastics when she was an infant in a school field trip at Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach for the next eleven years. Biles earned a silver in vault in 2010 and also a bronze at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Biles then advanced to elite-level competitions in 2011. Two years after that Biles was the king of the field. Biles stood out by her consistent performance, her enthusiastic attitude as well as the amount of difficulty that she included in each event--vault bar, uneven bars, balance beam and ground work.
